We are proud to announce Miami Heat power forward Chris Bosh has joined us at The Public Apology, signing on as chief literary critic. Bosh, a self-professed “book nerd”, will promulgate his ideas across a variety of literature, from Irish romanticist poetry and postmodern novellas to his favourite genre, American 20th Century non-fiction.
“The significance of literature in modern society is something that can never be underestimated,” Bosh said. “A good book can change lives.”
“While guys like LeBron and Dwyane Wade are high-fiving each other in Miami nightclubs, I’m usually at home on my Kindle, getting elbow-deep in a Faulkner novel.”
“I’m looking forward to this new challenge and to working with the guys at The Public Apology.”
The Public Apology co-editor, Dave Edwards, welcomed Bosh to the team and said he’d give the 6’11” star all the editorial licence he wanted.
“We’ve been looking for a waste of 6’11” height for a while now, and we figured Bosh would be just as useful writing pithy articles for us as he is shooting piss-weak long-range fadeaways for Miami,” Edwards quipped.

You hate Pau. You hate Bosh. And yes, I agree, they’re both piss-weak. But Dirk with his 7 foot free throw merchantism/coupled with his gaylord fade-aways…there’s no-one that pisses me off more in the NBA. Except for Pau of course…
At least Dirk can hit some of his fadeaways, and occasionally meander into the paint for a dunk – although only on very rare occasions. I just hate seeing guys of that height play effeminate basketball.
We’ve actually got another exclusive on Bosh that is under an 8pm media embargo tonight, so make sure the Have a Bowl team reads ThePublicApology tomorrow morning for that exciting news!
Regards,
