ThePublicApology extends its heartfelt congratulations to Queensland on clinching the 2011 State of Origin series.
An emphatic victory last night at Sydney’s ANZ stadium handed the Maroons their sixth successive series win.
The side is now considered to be the best in Origin history; meanwhile the rebuilding phase begins now for the beleaguered NSW squad, with coach Ricky Stuart now facing intense pressure to retain his position of the 2012 series.

[Editor’s note: ThePublicApology regrets making the assumption that Queensland would win the Origin series. This article was filed at publishing deadline and we took the chance that Queensland would win comfortably. But, in our defence, you can’t really blame us for assuming NSW would get beaten, can you?]
