The Public Apology is proud to present ‘The Hill’ – live alternative ball-by-ball commentary of the 2015 Ashes series.
TPA’s Sam Perry and Dave Edwards will guide you through the first session (and possibly beyond) for the duration of the Ashes series.
We’ll bring some much needed light and colour to the Ashes. We don’t know the players names, but you’re not listening to us to learn shit, are you?
We’ll seamlessly weave ridiculous analogies, obscure music references and self-indulgent personal stories into our dedicated ball-by-ball coverage. It’s cricket, but not as you know it.
The Hill is produced by producer/composer/voice-over extraordinaire Toby Shain, so you know it’s going to be high-quality. The sounds, that is. Plenty of stings and stuff. Good stuff.
The Hill is off-Broadway cricket commentary. This ain’t The Lion King musical extravaganza in mid-town. It’s a little 100 seat theatre on 7th Avenue (between Bleecker and Christopher Streets). It’s gritty, charming, and decidedly low budget.
Get ready for a broken fucken arm – and tune in from tonight (7:30pm AEST) for the coverage.
